What is a DSC?

Developer Student Clubs are university based community groups for students interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome.

By joining a DSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.

DSC Origin

  • Launched in 2017 as a pilot in India
  • Solve challenges associated with securing employment in tech industry
  • Provide university students with the resources, opportunities, and experience
  • Train thousands of student developers
  • Work with their communities to solve real-life problems
  • Global program expanded to Indonesia and Africa
